  My experience learning English at university has been quite diverse, the first year was somewhat simpler and of a basic level, however it reminded me of many things from high school. The second year was more difficult because of the level that exists, therefore it has been more difficult than the first year, also the internet connection is sometimes not good to access the zoom classes, but I have learned many things, for example with The blogs that have allowed me to practice my writing in English more, I hope that in my next English courses I will use blogs to practice. I need to continue improving my pronunciation and my grammar, these two issues are difficult in my opinion, therefore I hope to take a course in the next few months to continue improving, I can also watch movies, series and listen to music in English, with the aim of improving my listening and my pronunciation. CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

  In my second year of architecture, I think that I have enough time to think about improving some things in my study program. First of all, I think that the curriculum is fine, however I think some subjects are not learned much, although this also depends a lot on the teacher. The curriculum should teach design programs, which are very necessary in the career, and in my opinion give more hours to the history course.  The academic load on some occasions is quite a lot, especially in the workshop, however the faculty has made some efforts to change this situation, although there are still some things to change. The infrastructure of the faculty is quite deficient in several aspects, many improvements are missing to make it meet the standards of an architecture faculty, for example a better dining room for students and better study rooms, although it is great to study in a faculty with so much history like FAU.  There is also a problem with computer rooms, they are few ...

Personal Opinion

What is your opinion about having an exotic pet at home? In my opinion, having an exotic pet is a great danger for the pet as well as for the owner. Exotic pets, as their name indicates, should be in specialized places for better care, either in their natural habitat or in an animal care center where they will be more protected by specialists in the subject of their care. What is your opinion about recycling? Recycling is essential for a society that seeks cleanliness and care for its environment. My future job

  In the future I would like to be a great architect, who knows all the necessary lessons to do a good job as an architect and who is valued by society. I would like to have an architecture specialty related to restoration or history because these are two very interesting specialties that allow you to discover new places, cultures and architectural works. If I study the specialty of restoration I will be able to help restore a building in poor condition and be able to preserve it over time, on the other hand if I study the specialty of history of architecture I will be able to teach my students the history of this beautiful career. I would not mind working in a group in either of the two specialties, this career helps you adapt to working in a group, because it is very important for the architect. The Best Holiday Ever.

  My best holidays was last year when I visited Rio de Janeiro for the first time. This great city of Brazil is one of the most famous and visited cities in the world, for its great places. Rio de Janeiro has beautiful places like Pão de Açúcar, with one of the best views of the city, the Estádio do Maracanã, one of the largest and most famous football stadiums in the world, and also the Copacabana neighborhood with its beautiful beach. and clean sand, finally my favorite place to visit was Cristo Redentor, one of the most impressive sites in the world and one of the new seven wonders of the modern world. In conclusion I liked this trip through the beautiful places that I met with my family, the weather was incredible and the food from Brazil is great, the people were super nice, so I would go again and I recommend everyone to go some day.

United States-New York, the city that never sleeps

  As an architecture student, I would like to travel to the United States, but being more objective to New York, the city that never sleeps, because it is a modern place, with wonderful spaces to visit and great architecture. New York is one of the most important metropolises in the world and in the United States, it is a city with important companies from all over the world, it also has a great culture with many theaters, libraries and cultural centers and a great history since its foundation. I would love to tour this city from side to side, visiting its most important places such as Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, the Seagram Building, the Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building, among others.
